Autumn is perhaps the most beautiful season in Tokyo. At least for a guy like me who loves the wide variety of architecture, colors, and urban landscapes Japan’s capital offers.

To me, this is perhaps the best time to go around Tokyo to witness how the colors of trees come alive in yellow and red as the temperatures cool down and fall deepens.

Scenes move slowly. The silence emphasizes the impermanence of even the best things. Autumn in Tokyo adds dramatic colors amidst the grey urban sprawl.

Below are pictures from around Tokyo in autumn 2019 and 2020 that I hope you’ll enjoy viewing.
